Endel Lee was raised in a rural community called Tanner Williams, near Mobile, Alabama. Ordained in 1986, he has served in a variety of ministry roles: assistant pastor, hospital chaplain, military chaplain, disaster response chaplain, mission team leader, senior pastor, interim pastor and seminary professor. He now serves as the Church Planting Catalyst for Military Communities with the North American Mission Board (since 2014).Lee’s combined service in the Marine and Navy Reserves is 36 years. He began as an enlisted marine, became a marine officer with a commanding officer tour, and has served as a Navy Reserve Chaplain for the past 25 years with seven mobilizations, including three overseas deployments along with responses to NYC 9-11 and Katrina. He currently is assigned as the Navy Deputy Chief of Chaplains for Reserve Matters.Endel and his wife, Kathy, reside in Mobile, Alabama, and have two sons, Hunter and Cody.
